I did talk to LaQuesta a couple of months ago. He seemed to be at peace with the world and happy to be at El Reno...

I got the impression that the only friends he has now are line staff...

You're right. I think admin. has it against him when he went through some personal stuff. He has laid down all the way and don't bother any CO's anymore. At one time he wanted to make a name for himself but now he just wants to keep his job.

It was him that had done this back in the day that Miller was here. Then he started throwing up eveytime he had to deal with the Union. If the truth be known...I think he wouldn't mind getting busted back to an 8 so he could join the Union.

This also sound like a certain LT (E.M.)who is transferring from FCI Texarkana to FCC Forrst City. He used to love going through officers desks, like there is not more important stuff to do!!!!

Thus, the Officer's gave him the nickname of "Pukey", we would even call him that on the radio......Pukey hates me!!!! lol!!

Re: Searching Desks & Workstations

As a supervisor, I usually respect my employees' desks and workspaces, HOWEVER, I have had occasion to have to search for things that are missing (important paperwork). Today I was looking for some contraband to view to see if an offender deserved to get it back (he didn't) and found a hidden stash of paperwork from 2007. GRRRR

These are the days it sucks to be a supervisor!

Re: Searching Desks & Workstations

We had a former supervisor here who was searching his staff's desks when they were busy shaking down the inmate work crew at the end of the day.

When they found out, that was the end of his fun.

If I ever get a supervisor who wants to search my desk, I'll fill it up with embarrassing female products (jumbo tampons, giant maxipads, feminine deodorant spray, super strength vaginal yeast cream, medicated douche, etc).

Oh, course, I probably would get a female supervisor who wouldn't care or one who would enjoy the experience even more...

Why put yourself in a position to get hemmed up over that dumb sh**. You usually know when the LT is making his rounds, so put it in your bag, briefcase, or what ever. Don't put it out there for the LT to have to make a situation out of it. It's called respect... If you don't have it for the person then have it for the position. Maybe the LT was looking for a pen or a paper clip. Who cares. Just give the man or woman 3 minutes of courtesy and they'll be out of your AO.

In the case in question, I don't think the lieutenant was looking for a paperclip.

Whatever it was he was looking for, he didn't find it in that bag. All he found was himself in a world of ****.

Re: Searching Desks & Workstations

Then that individual needs to unf**** himself and get a life. If he wants to get a leg up in the Bureau thats not the way to do it. The back of an officer is not a stepping stone to attain accolades. Heres an idea: how about shaking down an inmate sometime and finding a shank or a bag of dope. Maybe he can assist an officer with a combative inmate. etc... etc... Thats the way you get those accolades that he searches for and in the long run a lot more respect from his subordinates, peers, and the administration.

I think you meant "shouldn't be", but the fact is we're just rungs on their mobility ladder. The more they step on, they higher they can climb.
